Today, nothing works in industry and trade without shipping cartons. Whether in wholesale or in the ever-increasing online trade, shipping cartons ensure that goods and products really do reach the customer undamaged. For identification and tracking of the goods, a lot of information is necessary, which must also be reflected on the shipping carton, for example information about the product itself, delivery details or information about the shelf life of the packaged goods. Although much of the information can be printed cost-effectively on the packaging in advance during the manufacturing process, much of the information is also dynamic. Date of manufacture, batch number, delivery address, etc. - These are all details that are printed on the package directly before shipping. Also, with pre-printed cartons you always have the problem that none of the data may change.

Due to their design, inkjet guns are ideally suited when it comes to quickly and cost-effectively printing inverted cartons and slip lid boxes or other packaging made of corrugated board or similar materials. In contrast to pre-printed packaging, the exact printing location can be changed flexibly as required and variable data (production date, shelf life, delivery addresses, etc.) can also be adapted quickly. Inkjet technology is also very economical for monochrome printing, which is sufficient for shipping packaging. Ink with a wide variety of properties and qualities, such as waterproof, smudge-proof and fluorescent, is also available comparatively cheaply today. Inkjet problems familiar from the home - dried ink, clogged nozzles - hardly play a role in everyday commercial and industrial life. The devices are used far too frequently for these problems to come into play. Hewlett Packard's standardised TIJ technology also combines print head and ink tank in one housing, so print heads are automatically replaced on a regular basis. For printing on board and cartons in small to medium batches, there is currently no better solution than a handheld inkjet printer.

The NasaJet® hand printers are exactly the right choice for you if you frequently need to print shipping cartons. In the warehouse, on the production floor or even in the shop, the small hand printers can quickly and economically print anything with any data. Even monochrome images or barcodes are no problem. But printing is not limited to shipping cartons - metal, wood, stone or plastic can be marked quickly and easily. The purchase prices are lower compared to conventional marking systems. However, the range of functions - multi-line printing, printing of images, QR and barcodes or sequential numbers - is in no way inferior to these competitor products.

Separate control and printing units of the NasaJet® NJ-2000 allow a quick and easy installation into existing production lines with a maximum printing speed of up to 60m per minute. The printing units can be flexibly positioned. This also allows simultaneous printing of different pages at the same time.

The control unit with its built-in touch screen allows complex print templates to be quickly created in the unit itself. The printing of shipping cartons with necessary information such as expiry date, serial numbers or barcodes is thus possible in a fully automated way. The labelling costs remain clear and economical.
